We are looking for parents, carers, wider family members, former parents and alumni who would like to help establish a Friends of Denmark Road Association (Friends).

The Friends would create a formal structure for our community to support the school through fundraising, volunteering, and engagement.

Benefits could include:

✔ Building stronger connections between school, parents, alumni and the wider community.

✔ Generating additional funds for resources, enrichment activities, and facilities.

✔ Providing an additional source of manpower to support the school at events, as well as organising their own fundraising and community events.

✔ Providing opportunities for alumni and families to stay involved with the school.

✔ Enhancing the school’s reputation and community profile.

What we are looking for?

We would like to establish a small Steering Group to help us set up this organisation. This would involve:

• Helping shape the purpose and structure of the Friends
• Supporting initial planning and decision-making
• Laying the foundations for future activities and events

No previous experience is needed, just enthusiasm and a willingness to help.
