Introduction
At DRHS we are proud of our long-standing tradition of fostering excellence both in academics and extracurricular activities. Our six outdoor courts, for tennis and netball, are a vital part of our school community, providing a space for students to develop physical fitness, teamwork, and resilience whilst cultivating a lifelong love of sport. However, these courts were in urgent need of recoating to ensure they remained safe, functional, and a source of pride for current and future students.
The Vision
We aimed to recoat all six courts, enhancing their quality and durability for years to come. This project has transformed the courts into an excellent facility, not only supporting our PE curriculum and extracurricular sports clubs but also enabling us to host interschool tournaments and to offer a community facility.
Result
The total cost of recoating the six courts was £28,800. We asked for your help to make our vision a reality and you delivered!
